About Melanie
My semi-abstract Seascapes are inspired by the British coast and wetlands. I work from my studio aboard my narrowboat with views across the washes in Cambridgeshire. Originally from Cornwall, my life’s path gradually took me to the flat lands of the Fens and closer to my favourite coastline, the Norfolk coast. I have a fine art degree from Chelsea School of Art and after a career in web design I now completely focus on painting. My work features in private collections and has exhibited widely in the UK.
